Hey! I’m Dianel. I recently graduated from Binghamton University in New York with a Bachelor’s in Cinema. Through my studies, I have familiarized myself with and strengthened my knowledge on both physical film and digital film production, along with screenwriting. In my works so far, I have focused a lot on playing with horror/thriller themes, specifically through the lens of anxiety & OCD. Though, I am eager to evolve and diversify my portfolio by tapping into different genres.

Film is very important to me, and for as long as I can remember I have always been drawn to the world of cinema. Wes Craven’s Scream(1996) entranced me at 12 years old, and since then, I have wanted nothing more than to craft my own stories. Visual storytelling is such a magical device that curates a unique experience in a person that can either provide them with a form of escapism, a deep connection, or sometimes both. I want to make films that resonate with people.
